Rational Group, the owner of two largest Poker rooms, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, is planning to grab market share from online casinos. PokerStars have already tried to buy a casino, and Full Tilt will soon offer its players a range of new casino games.
Although the official representatives of Rational Group are silent about the upcoming transformation of the famous Poker room into a proper online casino, it is well-known that the site is going to be re-branded. A range of casino games will be added, and the word 'poker' is going to disappear from its name. It is not clear yet who will be developing the software package: PlayTech, Microgaming or the company is planning to develop games itself.
The news will not affect those, who are interested only in online Poker: Full Tilt will still have full normal range of offers for Poker fans, such as 'training' tables with low bets and tournaments with large prize funds.
