NetEnt Paid Out A EUR 2.6 Million Jackpot

NetEnt is slowly catching up with the top game developers, such as Microgaming and Playtech, and is starting to compete with them, at least in terms of payouts. Just before Christmas the company made a lovely present to a Finnish citizen, who managed to win a 2.6 million euros jackpot on the unluckiest day of the year, Friday 13th.

The player won the record-breaking jackpot on Mega Fortune slot machine. NetEnt paid out about 43.6 million Euros to various jackpot winners on Mega Fortune machine in 2013. The largest registered jackpot occurred in January, back then somebody won EUR 17.8 million.

Per Eriksson, the CEO of NetEnt, personally congratulated the winner and expressed confidence that he has yet many more winners millionaires to see.
